Car ads - do they drive you to purchase or to drink? - 27 June
Most car ads we see show a parade of brands winding around tricky bends mostly not in the country and end with a standard polished pack shot and call to purchase. Where are those great ads of yore that featured rodents dancing on steering wheels and high performance hatchbacks breaking the sound barrier? Has auto advertising become too similar and too sanitised or re there still pockets of creative and strategic brilliance?
In association with Ornico, join Jeremy Maggs along and his expert panel as they kick the tyres and look under the hood at the country’s most recent vehicle advertising and green or red card it. It’s a must attend session for those in the automotive marketing sector or if you just like cars.
